Looking for a creative school holiday activity in Singapore? Avid Art Studio's Holiday Art Programme invites children and teenagers aged 4-16 to explore WATERCOLOUR and PRINTMAKING through hands-on experimentation, artistic techniques and individual expression. Located in Ang Mo Kio, our small-group holiday art workshops encourage young artists to develop both artistic skills and their own creative voice.

an artwork created from your discoveries.
1. Children's Watercolour Workshop
The Secret Life of Watercolour- A two-part journey
What happens when water meets colour?
Session 1: Discover
Children experiment with what watercolour can do- texture, lifting, resist, colour interaction, controlled/uncontrolled marks and unexpected effects.
Take home: Their very own watercolour experiment sheets
Suitable for: Ages 4-6| Ages 7-12| Ages 13-16
*Same artistic idea, different level of challenge.
Date: Selected holiday sessions available throughout Sept. and Oct.
Duration: 2 hour small-group art experience.
Time slots: 10am- 12pm|2pm- 4pm
Fees: $50/ session. All materials included.

Session 2: Create
Children bring their discoveries together to create an artwork that reflects their own ideas and visual choices.
Take home: A completed artwork

2. Children's Printmaking Workshop
Printmaking Adventure:
Explore how line, shape, texture, space and colour can be transformed through pressure, ink and paper.
Session 1:
Foam Relief Printmaking
Understand mirror images, distinguish positive and negative space and learn to control ink application by creating their own foam printing plate and prints.
Take home: 1-2 original prints
Suitable for: Ages 4-6| Ages 7-12| Ages 13-16

Monotype Printmaking
Embrace artistic spontaneity and master additive and subtractive methods by manipulating smooth plates to create unique image transfers.
