Welcome to Avid Art Studio. By enrolling in our programmes, parents, guardians and adult students agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
Enrolment
1.1 Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
1.2 Class placements are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
1.3 Avid Arts Studio reserves the right to combine, postpone or cancel classes if minimum enrolment is not met.
Fees and Payment
2.1 Fees are payable before the start of trial classes, single session classes and terms (10 and 12 lessons classes).
2.2 All materials are included unless otherwise stated.
2.3 Fees are non-transferable to another student.
2.4 Late payment may result in the release of the reserved class placement.
Trial Classes
3.1 One trial class per new student.
3.2 Trial fees are non-refundable.
3.3 Participation in a trial class does not guarantee a place in the programme.
Attendance and Make-up Classes
4.1 Students are encouraged not to miss any scheduled lessons.
4.2 Parents or adult leaners should notify the studio as early as possible if a student is unable to attend class.
4.3 One make-up lesson per term may be offered for absence due to illness or valid reasons, subject to availability.
4.4 No make-up lessons will be provided for:
No-shows without prior notice
Voluntary absence such as holidays or other enrichment activities
Missed make-up lessons
4.5 Make-up lessons must be completed within the same term unless otherwise approved by the studio.
Refund and Withdrawal Policy
5.1 Course fees are non-refundable once a term has commenced.
5.2 Withdrawal before the commencement of a new term requires a fourteen days' written notice or notification.
5.3 Refund requests due to exceptional medical circumstances may be considered at the sole discretion of Avid Art Studio.
Class Cancellations
6.1 If Avid Art Studio cancels a lesson due to unforseen circumstances, students will be offered:
a replacement lesson;
a make-up class; or
studio credit.
Arrival and Collection
7.1 Parents are responsible for ensuring students arrive punctually.
7.2 Parents or authorised caregivers should collect children promptly after class.
7.3 The studio is not responsible for supervising children before or after scheduled lesson times.
Health and Safety
8.1 Students who are unwell should remain at home. Please do not attend class if the student has :
fever
vomiting or diarrhoea
contagious illnesses
any condition that may place other students at risk
8.2 Parents should inform the studio of :
allergies
medical conditions
special learning or behavioural needs
Behaviour Expectations
9.1 We strive to create a respectful and encouraging learning environment. Students are expected to :
respect teachers and fellow students
use studio materials responsibly
follow safety instructions
contribute positively to the class environment
9.2 Where behaviour repeatedly disrupts learning or compromises safety, Avid Art Studio reserves the right to suspend or terminate enrolment after appropriate discussion with parents.
Student Artwork
10.1 Student artworks remain the property of the student.
10.2 The studio may retain selected artworks temporarily for exhibitions, displays or photography with prior consent.
10.3 Parents are encouraged to collect completed artworks promptly.
Photography and Media
11.1 Avid Art Studio may photograpgh or film:
classroom activities
exhibitions
student artworks
studio events
These images may be used for :
website
social media
exhibition
brochures
educational publications
Parents who prefer their child not to appear in photograpghs should notify the studio in writing during enrolment.
Personal Belongings
12.1 Students are responsible for their own belongings.
12.2 Avid Art Studio is not liable for loss or damage to personal items brought into the studio.
Intellectual Property
13.1 The following remain the intellectual property of Avid Art Studio:

teaching resources
worksheets
teaching methodology
CREATE Framework
photograpghs produced by the studio
website content
These materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used commercially without prior written permission.
14.Portfolio and DSA Disclaimer
14.1 Avid Art Studio supports students in developing artistic skills, creativity and portfolio work. However:
admission decisions for Direct School Admission (DSA) are made solely by the respective schools;
participation in Avid Art Studio programmes does not guarantee DSA selection, admission, awards, or examination outcomes.
15. Limitation of Liability
15.1 While reasonable care is taken to ensure a safe learning environment, Avid Art Studio shall not be liable for:
accidental injury occurring during normal studio activities;
loss or damge to personal belongings;
interruptions due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by Singapore law.
16. Privacy Policy
16.1 Avid Art Studio respect your privacy. Personal information collected may be used for:
class registration
payment administration
communication regarding lessons and events
emergency contact
studio announcements
Personal information will not be sold to third parties and will be handled in accordance with Singapore's Personal data Protection Act (PDPA). Parents may request access to or correction of their personal data by contacting the studio.
17. Changes to Programmes
17.1 Avid Art Studio reserves the right to amend:
lesson content
teaching schedules
teachers
studio policies
programme structure
where reasonably necessary to maintain programme quality.
18. Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in Avid Art Studio programmes, parents, guardians and adult students acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
